Build New Cultural Protection Methods Based on the Concept of Metaverse and Existing Platforms

Abstract
The metaverse is a new form of the Internet that integrates a variety of new technologies, and has great potential when combined with the field of cultural heritage protection. This paper aims to use the concept of the metaverse and existing platforms to conceive a new way of cultural heritage protection. Technological innovation means industrial transformation beyond reality, and the ecological environment of communication media has undergone tremendous changes. The virtual world provided by the metaverse allows people to integrate into historical civilization in a more flexible way, eliminating the public sense of strangeness and mystery of cultural heritage, so as to hold warm and textured works and stimulate the public consciousness of protecting cultural heritage. With the advancement of technology and the ecological picture of the future mediated society, the protection of cultural heritage is of great importance. Through interviews, surveys and periodic summaries, the group developed and discussed with cultural preservation practitioners for the future possible ways of conservation and transmission. Finally, a systematic and methodical investigation report is formed, giving more possibilities for cultural protection.
