Abstract

Fever is a common symptom of pediatric diseases, often characterized by rapid onset, complex etiology, and easy recurrence, which seriously affects children's health. Traditional Chinese medicine external treatment plays an important role in the treatment of this disease, with definite therapeutic effects and wide applications. This article reviews clinical research literature on the treatment of pediatric fever with external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in recent years, and finds that its treatment methods mainly focus on bloodletting therapy, cupping therapy, scraping therapy, pediatric massage therapy, acupoint application therapy, etc. These types of therapies have the characteristics of simplicity, convenience, cost-effectiveness, and high safety, and are worthy of clinical promotion. At the same time, it also pointed out that there are some shortcomings in current research, such as the low quality of clinical research, the lack of research on the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine external treatment for pediatric fever, and the lack of standardization and standardization of the operation technology of traditional Chinese medicine external treatment. The above problems need to be further improved and resolved in order to provide reference for clinical research work.
