Construction of Vocational Teachers’ Motivation Model—A Case Study Based on Nvivo Software Qualitative Method

Abstract

As important professionals in higher vocational colleges, higher vocational teachers play an important role in promoting the high-quality development of higher vocational college education. However, the problem of higher vocational teachers' turnover is still prominent in many higher vocational colleges and universities. In order to find the intrinsic mechanism of this problem, this study takes S higher vocational college as an example and adopts the method of qualitative research, which uses Nvivo 11.0 software to analyze the data, to summarize the motivational characteristics of higher education teachers and constructs a model of higher education teachers' motivation, so as to provide theoretical support for the selection, training, assessment and motivation of teachers in higher education institutions. The model provides theoretical support and practical guidance for the selection, training, assessment and motivation of teachers in higher education institutions.
