Abstract

We are currently in a period of normalization of epidemic prevention and control, and a certain number of middle school students have problems with mental health and Internet addiction. Affected by the epidemic, the situation in many places across the country is grim, causing middle school students in some areas to be in a state of home isolation, failing to receive normal school education, living a normal daily life, resulting in some psychological problems, and even causing some of their students to develop Internet addiction. Because I am deeply impressed by the phenomenon of Internet addiction in the middle school student group, I searched dozens of relevant literature on academic websites, downloaded more than ten articles on mental health and Internet addiction of middle school students, studied several major factors in its formation, and proposed corresponding solutions, hoping to provide help for middle school students who have not returned to school online classes in the post-epidemic era. This paper mainly analyzes the causes of some middle school students' Internet addiction, expounds the impact of Internet addiction on the mental health of middle school students, and proposes some solutions to alleviate the mental health hazards caused by Internet addiction.
