Abstract

With the development of the Internet and information technology, cyberbullying is becoming more and more common. There is a heated debate about the differences between cyberbullying and traditional bullying. Some people believe that cyberbullying is an extension of traditional bullying in electronic media, while others argue that cyberbullying is completely different from traditional bullying. They hold the view that cyberbullying is a new type of bullying. Therefore, the relationship between cyberbullying and traditional bullying among teenagers is a very important topic. Due to the particularity of teenagers, bullying is occurring more and more frequently among teenagers. The research on this topic is helpful to reduce the harm of bullying to teenagers’ mental health. This paper will help people have a deeper understanding of cyberbullying and traditional bullying in a more comprehensive way. It will be recommended that some solutions effectively reduce the frequency of bullying and reduce the harm of bullying to teenagers.
