Abstract

Lumbar paravertebral muscle degeneration is common in clinic, affecting patients' daily lives and lowering their quality of life. Related research shows that the occurrence and development of degenerative diseases of lumbar spine are closely related to the degeneration of paraspinal muscles. With the wide application of imaging technology in disease diagnosis, core imaging tech-nologies such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI are playing an increasingly important role in the diagnosis and treatment of lumbar spine diseases. Understanding the subtle imaging features of the disease can help doctors diagnose it early and potentially prevent complications. As a result, this paper examines the research progress of various imaging parameters and indexes in evaluating lumbar paravertebral muscle degeneration.
