On the Legal Obligations of Data Brokers in China’s Data Trading Market—From the Perspective of Guangzhou Data Broker System

Abstract

Big data will usher in a new round of information revolution, data has penetrated into every industry and every business field. As an important factor of production, data trading market is developing rapidly. In order to promote the further development and standardization of data trading, China has introduced the data broker system. Data broker is a special body of data trading industry originated from the United States, which has made an important contribution to the development of data trading market. Similar across China in pilot system, this paper in the perspective of the latest data in Guangzhou agent, discuss the class data brokers across China pilot accurate legal subject localization, the reference system of the United States and the European Union for data brokers body positioning and obligations set by the legislation practice, explore the data on China agent based on its special subject identity shall perform the legal obligations.
