Abstract

Sustainable fashion is an important trend in the apparel industry, and the use of new bio-based materials with green and environmental protection is conducive to the development of sustainable fashion. In this paper, the application status of bio-based materials in home service industry is reviewed, the definition and material characteristics of new bio-based materials are explained in detail, and the main biodegradable materials in recent years and their applications and development in home service industry are reviewed according to the classification, and their development trends are summarized and analyzed. The new bio-based materials are expressed through the design and practice of home clothing, and the theory is transformed into practical feasibility through the application of scientific theory and method of design practice. In the future development, it provides a certain reference for the innovation of sustainable bio-based materials and a new theoretical vision for the design of modern home wear.
