Abstract
It is the fundamental task of education to implement moral education, and comprehensively promoting the ideological and political construction of curriculum is a strategic measure to implement the fundamental task of moral education. As an important part of "the synergistic effect of various courses and ideological and political theory courses", the construction of college English "curriculum ideological and political affairs" is an inevitable requirement to realize the value of college English courses under the background of the new era. The reform practice of "curriculum ideological and political education" has proved that in order to achieve the effectiveness of college English "curriculum ideological and political education", it is necessary to form a stable and effective ideological and political teaching mode of college English courses, improve the evaluation system of ideological and political teaching effect of college English courses and strengthen the construction of ideological and political teaching team of college English courses. Ideological and political education is an essential content of China's higher education, but also an important basis to promote the curriculum ideological and political teaching mode, so as to realize the educational concept of "moral education" that China has been adhered to. Based on this, this paper analyzes the current situation of college English teaching, discusses the value of curriculum ideological and political construction, and discusses the difficulties faced by college English teaching, and finally puts forward the practical path of ideological and political construction of college English curriculum for reference.
